Information for members of Alstom Grid Group Personal Pension (GPP) (please scroll down)

Update as at December 2012 - All employees who were active members of the Grid GPP with Prudential as at 30 June 2012 have now had the appropriate option (as outlined in the member communication below) applied to their Grid GPP benefits. The bulk transfer to the ALSTOM Ltd GPP with Aviva was processed, and transfer confirmation letters were sent to members, in November. For those members who did not opt to be included in the bulk transfer, or to transfer to a pension provider of their own choice, their Grid GPP was converted to a Personal Pension Plan with Prudential.

Your Pension Options - Announcement to Members - On 30 July 2012, an announcement was sent to active members of the ALSTOM Ltd Group Personal Pension (GPP) Plan who also have benefits in the ALSTOM Grid UK Group Personal Pension Plan.
This announcement contains full details of the options available to members in respect of their Grid plan benefits, including a guide explaining the decisions that members need to make and the deadline for each decision.
The deadline for members to submit decisions (28 September 2012) has now passed.
If members have any queries, the relevant contact details appear on the back page of the guide.

ALSTOM Ltd Income Replacement Scheme (Alstom IRS)
As a member of the Alstom GPP you are automatically enrolled as a member of the Alstom IRS which provides continued sick pay in the event of a prolonged absence from work. Full details and conditions are provided in the Alstom IRS booklet - click here to view a copy.
